Glossary term: Device

Any physical or virtualized computer running UBOS Linux.

For our purposes here, any physical or virtualized computer running UBOS Linux and perhaps other components of the UBOS Project. This could be:

• a Raspberry Pi;
• an x86_64 server;
• an instance on Amazon EC2;
• or a virtual machine on your desktop with virtualization software such as VirtualBox, Parallels Desktop, VMWare or UTM;
• a UBOS Linux container running on some other Linux system.
